Garmin Forerunner 410 - Garmin Forerunner 410
The brand new Garmin Forerunner 410 GPS watch is a new and improved version of the 405 with improved chest strap and better touch bezel controls. The addition of the soft strap chest strap is much welcome as it is much more comfortable than the standard heart rate monitor strap. Other changes to Forerunner 410 include the ability to turn the entire watch off to save on battery life and you can also operate it in either watch or GPS mode.

The Forerunner 410 allows you to customize your data fields so you can have one large field or two or three pieces of information visible. The Virtual partner pacing feature is still one of our favorite features for this GPS watch because you can see in real-time how far ahead, or behind you are, from a targeted pace.
The company claims 8 hours in full GPS mode on this GPS watch but our experience was more like 7 hours. You can also get optional speed and cadence sensors for biking and a handlebar mount to turn it into a bike computer. The Garmin 410 also comes with an optional quick release band that you can install for quick removal for multi-sport events or as an option.
Garmin Forerunner 410 Is Feature Rich Like no Other GPS Watch
The color scheme of the new Garmin Forerunner 410 GPS watch is nicer than previous versions and the touch bezel can now be controlled even with gloves on, which is a real plus for colder weather.
This GPS watch comes with a wireless data transfer via USB and offers dual time zones. The clincher is that is is completely compatible with either Windows operating systems or Intel-based Mac running OS 10.4.11 or later with Safari.
Other features include Auto Pause which is great for stoplights and Auto lap, plus the new improved bezel control allows you to scroll much faster to new screens and functions. Get time and distance alerts, heart rate alerts and pacing alerts, along with heart rate based calorie computation.
Garmin 410 Touch Bezel Improvements Were Huge
By improving the touch bezel function, adding a better chest strap, and adding an optional quick release velcro band designers made some nice incremental improvements with the Forerunner 410 in what has already been a successful model in the 405.
The Garmin Forerunner 410 GPS watch promises to be a big seller this year, so get yours on order now to avoid
stock shortages.
