What is covered?
Polar Electro Inc. / Polar Electro Oy guarantees to the original consumer of this product that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase.
What is not covered?
Warranty does not cover the receiver or the transmitter battery, damage due to misuse, abuse, accidents or non-compliance with the precautions, improper maintenance, commercial use, cracked or broken cases. Polar can not be responsible for damage caused by unauthorized service. Any damage caused by unauthorized service will not be covered under warranty. Warranty does not cover any damage(s), losses, costs or expenses, direct, indirect or incidental, consequential or special, arising out of, or related to the product. This warranty does not affect the consumer's statutory rights under applicable national or state laws in force, or the consumer's rights against the dealer arising from their sales/ purchase contract. During the warranty period the product will be either repaired or replaced free of charge at any of the authorized Polar Service Centers, despite of the country of purchase.
When is the warranty valid?
Warranty is valid only for product that was purchased from an authorized Polar retailer. Items purchased second hand or through open auction sites such as E-bay are not covered by the 2 year warranty.
