The Light and Motion Seca 700 offers cyclists, skiers and outdoor adventurers 700 lumen of light from either a
helmet or handlebar mount position. Redesigned for 2010 the Seca 700 boasts and improved beam pattern from its new bi-conic reflector which shoots a
clean even beam down the trail.

With its new low profile mount the 700 is equally at home on the bar or helmet and at a mere 341 grams with 3 hours of run time, it runs
away from every other light in its class. We use the same great care in evaluating these lighting systems as we do in selecting a bike computer, heart
rate monitor or GPS watch to offer in our store, so you can be assured these are the highest available quality lights anywhere.
Why You Need This Cycling Light
From our experience the Seca 700 tops just about every other light on the market for forward visibility except the Seca 1400, which is like having
a set of halogens from a high-end sports car light the way.
This cycling light operates in four modes: High, Medium, Low and Flash and will alternate between modes sequentially for climbing or flat spots.
Before you drop onto a high speed descent just push and hold the button for 2 seconds and you'll run on high the whole way down. On high it is pretty
tough to outrun the visibility provided from these lights.
Other Non-Cycling Uses
If you are in to adventure racing, 24 hour races and ultras then there is no better company to turn to for lighting than Light and Motion. We could see
using these lights for mountain biking and road biking but they would also probably be pretty sweet for inline skating, rock climbing or mountaineering
too. Maybe also downhill skateboarding, pavement luge, night time motocross attached to a helmet for extra visibility, night time fly fishing, whitewater,
and probably a bunch of other things we have not thought of yet.
If you plan on going all night with this bike light than you should consider getting yourself an spare battery because you can't power these units
with the battery from your bike computer, heart rate monitor or GPS watch.
These lights gives you two and one-half hours of light at 700 lumen but turning it back to 350 lumen renders 5 hours of light.
